Our Delaware Family Dental Office Staff
Dr. Kelly Walker, DDS
Dr. Kelly Walker is originally from Salisbury, MD. She graduated from Salisbury University with a major in biology and minor in Chemistry. Upon receiving her doctorate of dental surgery (D.D.S.) from the University of Maryland in 1993, Dr. Walker completed a general practice residency at Christina Care Hospital in Wilmington. Since then, she has had her own Delaware family dental practice in the Wilmington area.
During her early private practice years, Dr. Walker held staff appointments at Christiana Care’s dental residency program and at Nemours Health Clinic, which serves the geriatric population of our area.
Dr. Walker is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Delaware State Dental Society. She and her staff are committed to continuing education; attending conferences to stay current with new research and technologies.
Dr. Walker resides in the Pike Creek area with her husband Greg and their 2 children. She enjoys time with her family at the beach in the summer time. Dr. Walker is a cycling and fitness enthusiast and participates in numerous events for various charities, including Autism Delaware, the MS Society and the Boys and Girls Club of Delaware.
Theresa
Theresa is a Delaware native. She is a two time graduate of Delaware Technical and Community College. In 1985 she graduated from the Dental Assisting Program and then in 1994 for Dental Hygiene. Theresa enjoys working one-on-one with patients to make their dental cleaning a pleasant experience. She is married and has 3 children and a grandson. Theresa lives in Bear with her husband, son, and boxer Samson. When not at work, she enjoys going to the beach, taking classes at the YMCA and spending time with family and friends.
Carol
Carol graduated from Delaware Technical and Community College in 2008, earning an associate’s degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She has been working with Dr. Walker since 2011. Carol provides a comfortable, safe environment for patients at our Delaware family dental office, making every visit a pleasant one.
Carol lives in Elkton, Maryland, with her fiancé and two dogs, Sam and Missy. She likes to read, garden, and spend time with her grown children, Justin and Chelsea.
Tina
Tina has been with our Delaware family dental practice for over 20 years. She joined the practice as a dental assistant and is currently Office Administrator. Tina schedules appointments, submits insurance claims, and generally keeps the office running smoothly. She makes every patient feel at ease when they call on the phone and when they walk through the door. She loves to say to people that she “came with the building”.
Tina enjoys spending time with her husband Andrew, sons Matthew, Tucker and Austin and two dogs Cali and Cooper. Most weekends are spent camping with family and friends. Tina shares her free time with Friends of the Fallen, a local non-profit volunteer based organization at Dover Air Force Base. In addition she is very involved with her son’s Boy Scout Troop.
Sandy
Sandy is a lifelong resident of Pennsville, New Jersey. She attended Salem Community College and Dawn Institute earning her Dental Assisting Degree in 2008. She enjoys spending time with her husband Rob, and their son Robbie. Her stepson is currently serving our country in the United States Army. Sandy plays competitive volleyball and enjoys vacations at the shore.
Claire
Claire is a member of our Delaware family dental staff who grew up right in Bear, Delaware. She attended Delcastle Technical High School and earned her Dental Assisting degree in 1993. Claire still lives in Bear with her husband Jason, daughter Haley, and their boxer Abby. If they have a free weekend, it’s most often spent camping with family and friends.
